• 18th Century Cheer at the Château

DEC. 3 TO JAN. 8 – December is undoubtedly one of the best times of the year to visit the Château Ramezay in Old Montreal. This is the month that your (very reasonable) admission fee grants you not only a tour of a 300 year old New France colonial chateau complete with furnishings and personal items, but also…

      • a baking workshop: Tie on an apron and try your hand at making, baking and eating a sweet sourdough bread. Weekends in December plus December 26 to 30 & January 2 to 8.
      • a family activities booklet: For a fun way to learn more about Quebec holiday traditions, ask for your free booklet at the front desk!
      • hang a stocking on the mantle and return to the museum after Jan. 2 to find them stuffed with goodies! $10 per stocking, and we can attest through experience that you do get your money’s worth in treats. Hang stockings anytime from Dec. 5 to 30.

The Château Ramezay – Historic Site and Museum of Montréal is located at 280 Notre Dame East (Champ de Mars metro).

Admission for a family is $26.50 – 20% off for CAA and Access Montreal card holders.
