    ON MAY 27 & 28 – This weekend, the fine folks at GUEPE (Groupe uni des éducateurs et professionels en environnement) want you to join them to learn about nature. Activities may be held in French.

    May 27 – Montreal families in Nature

    Free activity without registration at 1pm and 2:45pm at the Bois-de-Saraguay Nature Park

    For all ages.

    The Bois-de-Saraguay Nature Park: a place of interpretation from yesterday to today

    Discover the historical heritage of Bois-de-Saraguay! One of the three natural boroughs of Quebec, Bois-de-Saraguay is full of stories! Accompanied by different characters from yesterday and today, discover how families benefited from the landscape and nature of this corner of the island. Then head for the Polo and Paton trails for a rally where you can admire the richness of this nature park.

    Two departures are planned: 13h and 14h45. Participants are greeted by Mary-Dorothy-Molson at a staging of the past. Then, the participants will be invited by a naturalist educator and compatriots to walk the trails to make a rally.

    Parking is available in the neighboring streets at Maison Mary-Dorothy-Molson. No parking is permitted at Mary-Dorothy-Molson House.

    Free activity for all from 12pm to 4 pm at Parc-nature du Bois-de-Liesse, 3555 rue Douglas.B-Floreani.

    No registration.

    Nature, full of life, wakes up in the spring! Come meet the educator-naturalist at his kiosk and answer his spring puzzles! He will tell you about the season’s flagship species filled with colors and sounds!

    Go to the fields of the nature park of the Bois-de-Liesse.

    Free activity for all from 12 pm to 4pm at the Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard, 2115 chemin du Bord-du-Lac

    Without registration.

    Spring and summer are critical periods for the life cycle of migratory birds. Discover with a GUEPE naturalist-educator how nesting and nestling of chicks takes place for some species present in the park. Also understand how events such as late snow storms, noise and vibration can disrupt the life cycle of migratory birds.

    Meet at the park’s reception cottage.
