    ON JUNE 17 & 18 – This weekend, the fine folks at GUEPE (Groupe uni des éducateurs et professionels en environnement) want you to join them to learn about nature. Activities may be held in French.

    June 17 – Life in the water

    Free activity without registration from 12pm to 4pm at the Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard, 2115 chemin du Bord-du-Lac

    The metropolitan area of Montreal includes several rivers and lakes that house many animals. A GUEPE naturalist educator will introduce you to the fauna of the region that depends on the Deux-Montagnes Lake and the rivière des Prairies and the importance of these shores for the biodiversity of such an ecosystem.

    Meet near a cottage reception of the nature park.

    June 18 – The St. Lawrence River from west to east: stopover in Montreal

    Free activity for all without registration from 1pm to 3pm at Parc-nature de la Pointe-aux-Prairies, 14905 rue Sherbrooke Est

    Did you know that the Pointe-aux-Prairies nature park is the bridge between the Rivière des Prairies and the St. Lawrence River? During the week of the St. Lawrence River, discover this majestic river with GUEPE naturalist educators. This activity includes a presentation on the St. Lawrence River and a hike to the river sector. You will be able to observe it better!
