• MMFA Weekend Art Workshops

    SAT. & SUN. – Join the art educators every Saturday and/or Sunday at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts to enjoy a free introduction to a unique art form workshop related to the current temporary exhibit or to one of the museum’s featured permanent collections.

    Four-handed workshop: “Loopy Glasses (collage and assemblage)”
    10:15 – 11:00 and 11:15 – 12:00, in English.

    A made-to-measure workshop for little ones ( ages 2 to 5) and their parents.

    In this workshop, little ones will make a kooky pair of glasses. Passes are available starting at 10 a.m. on the day of the activity, in the Family Lounge.

    Drop-in workshop: “ReLOVEution!”
    11:00 – 16:00, bilingual.

    Our most flexible activity: drop in whenever you want, anytime between 11 a.m. and 4h p.m., to enjoy this creative break for young and old alike.

    In this workshop, families will produce pins inspired by the 1960s and 1970s aesthetic. Places are limited. First come, first served.

    Thematic workshop: “Bubbles and “Flower Power” (painting and assemblage)”
    13:00 – 14:00 and 14:30 – 15:30, in English

    In this workshop, families will create motifs with bubbles, which they will then transform into flowers. Passes are available starting at 10 a.m. on the day of the activity, in the Family Lounge.
