    ON JUNE 17 – Laurentian ecology, permaculture and wilderness survival adventure

    Morning: Visit to Tamarack Grove Homestead where Mat Madison, biologist, environmental consultant and organic farmer, will present a program on forest food and permaculture and give a tour of the animals and projects on his farm
    Noon: Lunch break at Mat’s with a sampling of his produce.
    Early afternoon: Quick drive (about 10 km) to the Ecology Centre at Camp Tamaracouta, where Charlie MacLeod will give a tour.
    Short hike to Les Wilcox’s house where Les will give a wilderness survival program. Les Wilcox has been running Wilderness Survival programs for Scouts Canada for many years.

    $2/pp. Activity takes place at Milles-Isles, QC (about 1 hour drive) from 10am to 4:30pm.
