This replica of tramway or “p’tit char”, as it was formerly said, will make you discover the natural and historical heritage of this park. Beginning in 1895, the Saint-Denis-Sault tramway drove the city dwellers to the banks of the Prairie River so that they could take a breath of fresh air in the countryside! Discover today the history of the Moulins site, the Maison du Pressoir, Île-de-la-Visitation and its heritage homes. Come again this historic and natural journey. Get on board!

-Point of embarkation: chalet of reception of the park-nature.

Mushrooms are not plants. They grow everywhere in the park, but we know them very little. Some are edible, others are toxic. Come and learn more about this animal or vegetable kingdom with a GUEPE naturalist educator!

Go to the marsh area of the Pointe-aux-Prairies nature park.
