• Santas at the Stewart Museum

NOV. 15 TO JAN. 7- Come to St. Helen’s Island for a magical moment!

Children and grownups will enjoy seeing an amazing collection consisting of 30 Santa Claus figurines, many of them handcrafted by artists under the spell of Christmas magic, including Lynn West, Beth Cameron, Lynn Haney and Quebec artist Carole Landreville.

Adding to the enchantment is an elegant Szálasi doll castle that comes to life at the sound of music. You will also see photographs of Montreal in winter at the beginning of the 20th century and learn about Christmas traditions. A craft workshop, treasure hunt, and short films will provide plenty of entertainment for children. Santa Claus will be coming to the Museum on Sunday, November 26 and December 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., an important event for anyone who wants to meet him in person.

The Stewart Museum is open Monday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., located about a 10 minute walk from Jean Drapeau metro (near the kids playground).
